I read the story Monty's Patch. I thought the story was a little bit tricky. I didn't know some of the words but I tried to sound them out.

Ayah's Problem Solving

I am learning to draw a picture to help me solve a problem.

The problem that I had to solve was:

Larenzo has 3 times as many marbles than Janet does. Janet has 7 marbles. How many marbles does Larenzo have?

I drew 3x7 by drawing three squares and then 7 dots in each square. The answer was 21. It was pretty easy.
